Difference Types of penalties on Google.

by Gaurav Gupta
By default there are two major types of Google penalties in which you can fall. The difference between the two lies in the “seriousness” or gravity of what you have done in the SEO of your website.
Algorithmic penalties
It is those SEO penalties that detects the Google algorithm automatically, that is, when it passes through your website and detects that there are actions that violate its “regulations.” They are SEO penalties which is relatively easy to get out, you only have to solve the problem that caused the penalty, and otherwise, tomorrow you may have backed up 30, 60 or 90 positions in the search engines … or more!!
Google will never tell you that you have fallen into an SEO penalty, but they are also the simplest to solve.
Manual Penalties
If you have fallen into a manual Google penalty, it is that you have bundled it that is, that you have searched the Google tickles and caught you. These SEO penalties will always be reflected in the Search Console tool we mentioned before and they start well because someone has denounced you for SPAM or because your site has jumped an alarm signal of something fat for Google.
In this case, the solution is not only to fix what is wrong and that motivates the SEO penalty, but also to send Google a request for reconsideration through the Search Console tool for Google to lift the penalty.
SEO penalties for duplicate content
One of the most frequent and “innocent” on many occasions. Depending on what your business is, it is easier or harder for you to fall into it.
The duplicate content is when in two different domains (websites) the same content exists. Theoretically, the solution for Google is easy, the page whose date of publication is the oldest is the original, the rest is a copy, and so Google can penalize these pages that “copy” the content.
There are many nuances on duplicate content, but the most important situation is when it is a practice that is repeated habitually. If you copy a text from another and paste it into your website, it will probably never happen to you at the SEO level, but if it is something that is usually repeated, it is very dangerous.
Keyword SEO Penalties
Keywords are the foundation of SEO positioning and you have to work them properly. But as always, if we pass, we can fall into Google penalties with the ensuing disorder.
You should never exceed the Google keyword density of 2%, or the Google Algorithm will catch you instantly.
SEO penalties for links
The links that point to your web or link building, are a fundamental SEO factor to get a good positioning in search engines. That is why many SEO agencies tend to push the limit when it comes to getting the links, thus falling on important Google penalties.
Buying and selling of links. One of the most persecuted practices of Google and reason to fall into a major SEO penalty. If you buy and / or sell links, Google will catch you in many ways, so honestly: do not try.
Non-related links. Very also used by companies that “camouflage” in a text a link that points to a content of a totally different theme.
SEO penalties for excessive use of advertising
One of the essential principles of Google is that it seeks quality above all else . For this reason, a website may include advertising but it will not be almost the only thing that time or this website will fall without hesitation in Google penalties.
Advertising is necessary and even good if put properly. But excessive use and abuse will bring more displeasure than benefits.
Hidden text SEO penalties
Virtually no one does this anymore today, however I have yet to find any isolated case of such Black Hat SEO practices. And it is important to note that this was always one of the most rigorous Google penalties, because it was clear that what you tried to deceive the search engine … Bad subject … I repeat, never try to deceive Google…
The Hidden Text consists of putting a part of the text of a web of the same color as the background, so that this text is not seen. It was used to be able to put many keywords in a row without the user seeing them, not to mention that Google detects them instantly, so SEO safe criminalization.
SEO Penalties for Cloacking
We enter into two types of already complex and elaborate penalties. That is, here the SEO Agency or the programmer does not fall by mistake or oversight but deliberately tries to deceive Google. As you can see that this is complicated, the end result is a secure manual SEO penalty.
Cloacking is an advanced SEO technique consisting of showing users a specific content, while search engines are shown other content, with the idea, or to get a good positioning, or to mock the search engine and get the user to deceive taking you to download pages, records, adult content and even internet scams and more.
SEO penalties for negative SEO
Finally, to curl the curl, another SEO practice heavily penalized by Google is the negative SEO. This practice consists in performing unethical attacks against your competition, usually through links (link building), but also through other channels with the ultimate goal of making this competition lower your search engine rankings.
